For either option, start close to the magnifying side and slowly adjust your distance until the reflection is clear. Use the 1X side for an overall view. Magnification is selected when ordering; it is not electronically adjustable.

Position the mirror where your existing lighting illuminates your face. The polished metal rim is not an LED light, and illuminated bathroom mirrors shown in room photographs are separate products.
